By using this site you agree to these terms. They're short because the site is simple.

Your maps are yours

You can use the maps you make for anything, including commercial projects like books, games, modules and videos. You don't need to pay me or credit me. Generated names come from random syllables, so check that a name isn't already someone's trademark before you build a product around it.

Using the site

The tool is free to use. Please don't try to break the site, overload it, or copy it and pass it off as your own. The site's code, text and design belong to me.

No guarantees

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. I can't promise it will always be available or that it will work on every device. Your maps are saved in your own browser, which means I can't recover them if they get cleared, so keep a copy of anything that matters to you. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss that comes from using the site.

Links to other sites

The homepage links to other map tools. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for them.

Changes

I may update these terms now and then, and the date at the top will change when I do.
